Flexvelop's business model inherently contributes to environmentally sustainable economic growth.
By connecting to the circular economy, Flexvelop conserves the use of natural resources and enables more sustainable consumption.
In addition, the FLEX lease also empowers young and small companies that have been underbanked to implement their own business ideas.
Our technology consumes hardly any CO2 and helps companies grow more flexibly and thus respond more resiliently to crises.
From the very first step, it was important to us to design the structures of our company in such a way that we produce as few pollutants as possible. We do not have a large office, company cars or unnecessary purchases that could produce pollutants in production or operation and pollute the environment.
As a digital service provider, we produce hardly any pollutants in our value chain. The largest share is CO2 resulting from our electricity consumption (server, office, electronics).
From 2023, we want to compensate for the CO2 we are responsible for and rely on renewable energies.
We know that laptops or coffee machines cause far more damage to nature than just consuming electricity.
From 2025 on, we want to compensate all self-caused damages (nitrogen, aerosol pollution, phosphorus, acidification,...) accordingly.
By 2025 at the latest, we want to demonstrate with relevant KPIs how many devices we were able to bring into the circular economy and how many devices we had to recycle.
We will also launch our own projects to become climate-positive by 2030. For example, we are planning national planting projects and international water treatment projects.
