There is usually a clause in the small print that postpones the start of the official term to the first of the calendar month/quarter following the takeover. This period is also referred to as "pre-rental". Here, an additional 1/30 of the monthly rate is charged per day. This means that up to three additional leasing installments are added, which are neither displayed nor taken into account.

In the small print, lessors automatically charge an additional fee to insure the leased object against a "property risk". Alternatively, the customer must insure the device directly at their own expense. For this calculation example, we have assumed a very favorable insurance fee.
